AK44 Slot Paytable: How to Read It

Quick Summary

  • The paytable is the slot's rulebook: what each symbol pays and how features work.
  • Payouts are often shown as multiples of your bet or change with your stake.
  • Paylines, ways and clusters decide how wins are formed.
  • Read it once before your first real spin on any new game.

Every slot has a paytable, usually behind an 'i', menu or question-mark button. It tells you what each symbol pays, how wins are formed, what the features do and, often, the game's stated return to player. Most players skip it. Spending two minutes on it before your first spin tells you more about a game than an hour of watching the reels. This guide shows you what to look for, page by page, so you can read any paytable in the AK44 slots lobby.

Before you start: open the right screen

Load the game, but do not spin. Look for an info icon, a menu with 'paytable' or 'rules', or a question mark. Many games split the information across several pages you swipe through.

Set your bet to the level you plan to use before opening the paytable. In many games the displayed payouts update with your stake, so you see real Taka amounts.

  • Find the info, menu or help button.
  • Set your planned stake first.
  • Swipe through every page, not only the first.

Page 1: symbol values

The first page usually lists every symbol and what it pays for three, four or five of a kind. Low-value symbols are often card ranks or simple shapes. High-value symbols are themed characters or objects.

Payouts may be shown as multiples of your total bet, multiples of a line bet, or as currency amounts. Check which. A '50' could mean 50 times your bet or ৳50.

What you seeWhat it usually means
Symbol x5 = 20Five of that symbol pays 20 times the stated base
Payout in currencyAlready adjusted to your current stake
Wild symbolSubstitutes for other symbols, with listed exceptions
Scatter symbolPays or triggers features anywhere on screen

Page 2: how wins are formed

Next, look for how symbols must land to win. Fixed paylines are set patterns across the reels. 'Ways' games count any adjacent symbols left to right. Cluster games pay for groups of touching symbols.

The rules also say whether wins pay left to right only or both ways, and whether only the highest win per line counts.

  • Paylines: count them and look at the diagrams.
  • Ways: check how many and whether they change per spin.
  • Clusters: check the minimum group size.
  • Direction: left to right, or both ways.

Page 3: features and bonus rules

Feature pages explain free spins, multipliers, respins, bonus games and special symbols. These pages often hold the rules that matter most.

Look for how a feature is triggered, how many spins it gives, whether it can retrigger and whether a multiplier grows or resets. Our expanding wilds guide covers one common feature in depth.

  • Trigger: how many scatters or which event?
  • Length: how many free spins or rounds?
  • Retrigger: can it extend?
  • Multipliers: fixed, growing or random?
  • Buy feature: is it offered, and at what cost?

Last page: return and rules

The final pages often show the theoretical return to player and general rules, such as what happens if your connection drops. Not every game shows the return figure.

We do not quote return figures because studios release versions with different settings. Read the figure in the game you open on AK44. Our high RTP slots checklist explains what the number means and what it does not.

Watch out: what paytables do not tell you

A paytable explains rules and values. It does not tell you how often features trigger in your session or whether a win is near. Each spin is independent.

Use the paytable to choose games that suit your budget, then keep to a stake plan. For more on slot styles, see slot game providers, or browse the slots lobby guide.

Common questions

Where is the paytable in a slot?

Look for an info icon, a question mark, or a menu item labelled paytable, rules or help. In many games it opens over the reels and has several pages you swipe or scroll through.

Why do paytable values change when I change my bet?

Many games show payouts in currency adjusted to your current stake. Raising the bet raises every displayed amount. Others show fixed multiples. The paytable tells you which method it uses.

Does the paytable show the RTP?

Often, but not always. When shown, it is usually on the last page with the general rules. Studios may release several versions of a game, so read the figure in the copy you are playing.

What is the difference between paylines and ways?

Paylines are fixed patterns that symbols must follow to win. Ways games pay for matching symbols on adjacent reels from left to right, in any row. Ways games usually show far more possible winning combinations.

Can the paytable tell me when a bonus will trigger?

No. It explains how a feature triggers, such as three scatters, but not when. Every spin is random, so a feature is never due because it has not appeared for a while.

Set a spending limit before you play. Never borrow to gamble. Stop the moment it is no longer fun. Responsible gaming
